Lake Huron Shipwreck and Maritime Center will reopen for the 1997 season on May 24, 1997. The Center located at 38 S. Ridge St. (M-25) in Port Sanilac, Michigan, is open Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. At the Center you will learn the maritime heritage of Lake Huron. Photos, models, artifacts, and exhibits will present this area's maritime history. See the video which details the plans for the permanent center which will be constructed as a replica of the Regina which sank off our shores in the Great Storm of 1913.
