The birthplace of Liberty Hyde Bailey, a well-known horticulturist and botanist, this house is furnished with the 19th century furniture, household items, etc. of the Bailey family. Special tours, programs and classes are also offered.
The Michigan Maritime Museum was conceived during our nation's Bicentennial celebration to commemorate the rich maritime heritage of the Great Lakes State. It has since developed to become one of this region's most enterprising institutions of maritime research, preservation and education.
